South Africa Visits Pakistan for the first time after 15 years. The last time both the teams were met in late 2007 in Pakistan.

Where South Africa won the 2 match test series (1-0). After this Pakistan hosted 2 test series vs South africa in Arab Emirates in 2010 and 2013. 

2010 Pakistan vs South Africa test match series was drawn with the result of (0-0). after this in 2013 Pakistan again hosted 2 match test series vs South Africa in UAE.The series was drawn (1-1).

Rules and Regulations of Test series given by International Cricket Council (ICC):

1. According to the Coronavirus Pandemic Applying Saliva on the Ball to shine the ball is Banned.Umpire gives 2 warning per innings to the teams if they apply saliva on the ball for shine and the next time 5 runs Penalty will be given to team.
2. An additional DRS review is available for both the teams as some times is less-experienced umpires is on duties.
